Vineguards are made from polypropylene Fluteboard which is a single extrusion of double skinned sheet joined by vertical ribs. This construction creates an ideal thermal environment that encourages rapid growth whilst being durable and weather resistant. Vineguards made from this versatile material will protect seedlings through the critical stage of their development plus improve their growing environment by retention of moisture and warmth.
Supplied to you flat, the vineguard is easily folded and installed in seconds, firmly secured by a stake through self locking tabs on one side or both sides for extremely exposed areas. As the Fluteboard is Ultra-Violet light treated and completely weather proof you simply install and walk away.
The seedling will grow straight and tall, the semi-transluscent material diffuses the sunlight creating optimum growth in excellent thermal conditions. It’s like a tiny greenhouse allowing the young tree to grow safe from browsing animals and rodents.
